RFK, Jr. Ends Campaign, Endorses Trump

During a podcast interview on August 20, 2024, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, said that the campaign was weighing a decision of either "staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Walz presidency... or we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump." 

 

On Friday, August 23, 2024, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. chose the later option. Additionally, he announced plans to remove his name from the ballot in multiple states so as not to play spoiler.
